My name is Marcus Tuiasosopo. I'm an artist, born & raised in South Auckland, and I am of Samoan descent. Since the day my older brothers taught me how to draw Dragon Ball Z characters, I've been in love with art. To be poetic and artistically free is what I strive towards whilst telling stories of the people of both my Hood and Homeland.

My art is inspired by the vibrant culture of Polynesians from South Auckland. Growing up in the area, I was exposed to the unique Gangster Culture and Polynesian Cultures that blend together to create a unique style. I use a combination of realism and graffiti to create my art, which is a reflection of my unique upbringing. I strive to incorporate the Polynesian culture in my pieces, in order to bring attention to this often overlooked culture.
